The NV-CPE5-O (Outdoor) is an advanced radio device based on a high-performance 580 MHz processor (MT7620DA+7612E chipset), supported by 64 MB of RAM and 8 MB of Flash memory.
Designed for compliant and reliable operation, the device supports the 5 GHz frequency band (including the outdoor-compliant UNII-2: 5.470-5.725 GHz range). Thanks to the use of OFDM modulation up to 256-QAM in the 802.11ac standard, the equipment ensures stable and efficient data transmission reaching speeds up to 900 Mbps.
The entire unit is housed in a compact enclosure with dimensions of 140 * 75 * 34 mm and a weight of 0.15 kg, designed for operation in harsh environmental conditions with operating temperatures from -30°C to 55°C and relative humidity up to 90% RH (non-condensing). The construction relies on an integrated dual-polarized 14 dBi directional panel antenna with radiation characteristics of H: 60° and V: 60°, enabling the establishment of reliable links in Point-to-Point (PtP) and Point-to-Multipoint (PtMP) topologies with support for up to 8 client devices.
In the physical layer, the device is equipped with two Ethernet ports: a gigabit POE/WAN port (1x10/100/1000Mbps) and an additional LAN port (1x10/100Mbps). The front panel features LED status indicators for power (PWR), the LAN port, and a three-level signal strength indicator (SIG1/SIG2/SIG3), as well as a clear numeric display showing digital pairing values or configuration, which works in conjunction with a multi-functional Digital Compound Button.
Device management is carried out via an intuitive Web-based remote management interface, supported by a default active Watchdog/Self-healing function and One-Key Connection technology for easy rapid pairing.
The device offers extensive wireless bridge configuration options, advanced network settings with support for DHCP and Static IP addressing, as well as system tools covering debugging, password changes, reboots, factory resets, and firmware upgrades.
Power is supplied via a remote 24V Passive PoE adapter (1A) or directly through a 24V DC (1A) connector, while a high level of outdoor installation reliability is guaranteed by built-in 15KV ESD protection and 6KV lightning protection.
